Yovela 2017

Yovela (Hebrew word, meaning for “full of joy”) is a youth camp of the Bengaluru Diocese Youth Movement (OCYM & MGOCYM) was conducted from July 14th to 16th 2017. Every year we have more than 150+ youths of various parishes in the Bengaluru Diocese who gather together to join in spiritual fellowship at Yovela, the Annual Youth Camp. The camp has touched and changed the life styles of many of our youngsters over the years. It has always been a truly a spiritual experience at the camp. We thank God for providing another yet opportunity this year to be with the youth from all our parishes.

At the plains of Devanahalli lies a paradise with fruit orchards, birds, green grass, plenty of fresh air and a natural water stream, was a place befitting for the camp. This was a blessed experience, we pray that this camp and the talents of the youth are utilized for the betterment of the world and to accomplish the mission which out Lord Jesus has entrusted us with.

The camp had various activities like Bible study, Prayer, Gregorian Worship, Confession, Skit, Games, Music, Camp Fire, Discussion, Holy Eucharist and much more.
